Quite the maddest people I met in the Academy were those who studied politics. Their ideas were so strange that I felt sorry for them. They actually thought that the best way to govern a country was to appoint people in charge who were honest, wise and clever, and who would try to do their best for everybody, not just look after themselves! They clearly had no idea about the real world at all!
